ABOUT THE WINERY:
Estate owner, Pascal Durand, comes from a long-standing family of wine growers. His family has been in this business for five generations, since 1864. The Estate is located in the heart of the village in Saint Amour, with its evocative name dedicated to romance. It is the most northernly appellation wine in the Beaujolais region. The soil of the region features intermingling granite and clay, schist and limestone. Pascal Durand uses the Gamay grape variety to make the Saint Amour wine.
Use of this label is licensed by the winery.
